Greetings From Ivey House Hostel...
Oct. 6th, 2004 04:10 pmi only have a couple minutes on this pc and i don't have any change left so i'll make this quick
1-melissa: i did NOT hang up on you. it cut me off--i think it was my card? i was in the middle ov speaking... also, i listened to you and got a sandwich...
2-the japanese girls love me! ^.^ the one girl can't say my name and it's soooooooo cute, and another one calls toronto "toront," which is pretty cute and entirely hilarious cuz you'd think that the syllable "to" would be the easiest part ov the word for her to handle and that calling it "toront" would be harder for her... but she just can't do it. it's fucking adorable.
they're all so impressed that i can speak japanese ^.^;;; apparently my pronunciation is really good, and the one girl just kept telling me how smart i was... but it's like: you speak english, yr english is better than mine... it's funnie.
i love how they giggle all cutely every time i say something in japanese. i love it. so cute~~~
not to mention that my dorm room is fulla japanese girls. just me an' a buncha japanese girls. awesome ^.~
3-hostel ppl are quite hilarious and great. everyone's from all over the place and they've all got these crazy accents and weird things to tell you about. in a way, i can see how this is good for me--i'm around people and getting attention and everyone wants to talk to everyone else. i like the human contact...
also, one ov the aussie dudes keeps calling me "sweetheart" and "honey" and stuff and winking and doing that gun noise at me. it's pretty cute. and he hates shoes!!! he was SO EXCITED to tell me about how he likes to tell people that they don't have to wear shoes at home or at the beach!!! it was so silly and weird and random and cute. so many cute people.
